Curriculum philosophy
The Animal Science curriculum aims to produce graduates with comprehensive knowledge and skills in animal production and meat science, covering everything from the farm level to safe animal products for consumers. It integrates scientific knowledge, technology, and innovation to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the Thai livestock industry in alignment with the BCG and SDGs frameworks, while promoting collaborative learning with communities for participatory and truly impactful local development. Instruction is delivered by expert faculty members who act as knowledge facilitators, advisors, and learning promoters through hands-on practice in laboratories, farms, industries, and community areas.
The ultimate goal of the curriculum is to develop graduates who possess the ability to produce livestock and develop products with quality and safety, have an environmental and social consciousness, uphold professional ethics, creatively connect knowledge to the community, and be leaders in sustainably elevating the Thai livestock industry.
