#Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University collaborated with the School of Agricultural Technology, KMITL to explore a Dual Degree Program
On September 8, 2025, the School of Agricultural Technology warmly welcomed representatives from Guangzhou Haishenghe Cultural Exchange Planning Co., Ltd. and Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University, China.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somsak Kramchote, Assistant Dean, together with representatives from the Smart Farm Management Program and the Agricultural Economics and Business for Development Program, engaged in discussions on developing a potential dual degree program between KMITL and Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University.
Five programs from the School of Agricultural Technology, KMITL were identified as aligning with Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University, paving the way for Chinese students to study in Thailand and receive a degree from a Thai university, supported by China’s Ministry of Education. The discussion also highlighted immediate opportunities for student and staff exchanges, such as internships, study visits, and joint research as well as the long-term possibility of establishing a dual degree program.
